And as the tradition has it, we look ahead, always optimistic that next year we will do more, dream bigger and deliver better results. Why mostly the U.S.? Well, we have the dubious distinction for having the top international youth-incarceration rate. The list includes policy changes, but it also includes small acts that each of us could do to have a positive impact on our communities in 2017.
