The older I get (and I say I am older than dirt), the quicker time seems to fly. It is hard to believe that almost four years ago, 450 participants from the MST community came together for the [2014 MST European Conference](https://info.mstservices.com/blog/european-conference-celebrates-the-implementation-of-mst) in London. Delegates gathered from Iceland, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium and the United Kingdom to celebrate the strong implementation of MST across their communities.  ![](https://info.mstservices.com/hs-fs/hubfs/BLOG_IMAGES/MST%20europe.jpg?width=1024&name=MST%20europe.jpg "MST europe.jpg") Looking back to that conference, the highlight for me was one mom’s testimony of her poignant journey with MST and its profound impact on her life and that of her son’s. When you read or hear about the science behind MST, you can be easily impressed. However, when you hear directly from the families whose lives have been touched, where a difference has been made to keep a child safely at home, in school and out of trouble with the law, it is then that you truly appreciate the impact of the work families, therapists and teams do. Hearing straight from the [voices](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4bQdAeznTI) who know it best inspires us the most.  It is that inspiration that will bring us back together this year for the 2018 MST European Conference at the Clarion Hotel and Congress Malmö Live in Malmö, Sweden, May 24 to 25.
